Please say "Hi, my name is Susie Sunshine and I would love if we could please schedule a PPE on horse X. He is at Fairmount Park with Trainer Y. I would like flexions/general health/xrays (whatever you want) and was hoping you could please give me a price".
Please schedule timing of the PPE with both us and the seller.
Vetting & Deposits Policy:
Once we have agreed to move forward with a PPE it should be set up for within 2 to 3 business days.
The buyer has 1 business day to decide if they are proceeding with the sale after the conclusion of the PPE. A quicker response is greatly appreciated as horses often have a line.
A deposit of 12% will hold the horse for you through the vetting, which should be scheduled for within 2 days. Giving a deposit means we will not sell the horse outright or have another PPE set sooner by someone else while we are waiting for yours. The deposit will be applied to the price of the horse. Deposits are accepted by Zelle, Venmo, Paypal and cash.
The deposit is refundable if the vet deems that the horse is not suited for your stated purpose.
You can chose not to put down a deposit while waiting for the PPE however, that means someone else might decide to purchase the horse outright before your vetting.
Once a sale is final, you will be asked to pay $25/day to care for your horse. These funds go directly to the seller.
Going to the Track in Person
Most horses are located at Fairmount Park Race Track (Fanduel Sportsbook and Horse Racing).
9301 Collinsville Rd, Collinsville, IL 62234.

To view a horse in person: Please contact the person in the horse's ad to set up an appointment with the seller. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Once your appointment is set, please communicate and let them know if you're running late or cannot make it. No Shows are not appreciated.

The track is generally open and busy with training from 6am to 11am most days. The track is very quiet in the afternoon and evenings.

When you are close to the track, contact the seller so that they know you're 5-10 minutes away. When you get to the track, go to the far left side of the parking lot, you will see travel trailers and a small security building. Please stop there, you will be asked for ID and you will be escorted onto the backside by the seller.
